Las Vegas Athletics of Basketball is a local Non-Profit Organization. We are dedicated to providing our under resourced students the opportunity to participate in an exclusive basketball training experience. We provide equal economic opportunities for our community youth to access elite training programs regardless of race, color, religion, socioeconomic or any other status. From developmental players to professional players, we welcome all skill levels.

The Las Vegas Athletics of Basketball provides elite skill performance training, mentorship, and student resources. Our organization uses the evidence based program: Positive Youth Development (PYD) to expand each learners full potential. It is a priority for us to provide access to the best player experience year-round. We want our athletes to build confidence, courage, and competency.
The LAB uses basketball as a vehicle to guide success and build positive life long habits. Through positive mentorship and a detailed training approach, players have the opportunity to accomplish personal and athletic goals, impact their game and believe in their abilities on and off the court.

Zach Cohen, CEO and Founder of Las Vegas Athletics of Basketball (The L.A.B) is a Teacher, Coach, Performance Trainer and Skill Development Coach with over 20 years experience. As a licensed K-12 Physical Educator at a Title 1 school in CCSD, he understands first hand the importance of providing a healthy opportunity to access basketball training for all student athletes throughout our community.
Choosing to make a difference, he created L.A.B. programs using diverse educational approaches to help transform game performance in youth athletes. He inspires participants to use the game of basketball to learn life skills, teamwork, discipline, responsibility and character; thereby, achieving personal goals set while building positive relationships for a lifetime.
Being an effective educator has given him vital knowledge and experience of understanding how each individual learns differently. His passion to teach the game of basketball while using the sport to create a bigger purpose is the ultimate goal. He truly believes in helping all athletes excel to the next level by implementing his creative and effective training techniques which include: physical, mental, emotional and academic support towards excellence.
At the L.A.B., we honor this approach and present the opportunity for all participants to use our tools for long term success while learning, attaining, and believing in themselves.
