Why the lab was created
The LAB was built from firsthand experience working with youth in Las Vegas schools and communities where access, structure, and consistent mentorship are often missing. With 15 years experience working in public school, it was clear there was a gap; many young people had potential but lacked environments that supported discipline, accountability, and long-term growth. Basketball became the entry point, but the mission quickly expanded beyond the game.

WHAT THE LAB DOES?
The LAB is a youth development organization that uses basketball as a tool to teach life skills, build character, and support long-term growth.
We serve youth through three core areas:
🏀 PLAYER DEVELOPMENT:
Structured training programs for student athletes of all skill levels focused on fundamentals, confidence, and performance.
📈 FULL COURT FUTURE:
A mentorship and intervention program designed for at-risk youth, focused on accountability, structure, and life skills.
🤝 COMMUNITY PARTNERS:
Free clinics, school partnerships, and outreach initiatives that expand access to sports, mentorship, and resources.

WHAT MAKES THE LAB DIFFERENT?
The LAB is not just a training program: it is a structured development system.
-
A clear pathway from entry to leadership
-
Mentorship built directly into programming
-
A focus on long-term personal development, not short-term performance
-
Real community engagement through partnerships and outreach.
-
We don’t just train athletes, we develop individuals.
